Boardwalk by the beach, parks and culinary experience.
The city of Hollywood, with over 140,000 residents, is located on the East coast of Florida between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Until 1921, the area was covered with pine forests and palmetto.
Joseph Wesley Young, a developer from California, who’s dream was to create a “city for everyone…” planned out the town, which was incorporated in 1925. Unfortunately the city had to be rebuilt after a devastating hurricane in 1926.
Hollywood is a coastal gem with a beautiful beach, a long boardwalk where you can take relaxing walks by the beach, work out, enjoy the bars and restaurants, picnic pavilions, outdoor concerts and more.
Residents and visitors can also take advantage of the commercial and retail centers, enjoy the rich and fun night life in Downtown Hollywood and get a full culinary experience in a large selection of restaurants.
The Real Estate Market in Hollywood varies from high-rise condos with waterfront views to townhouses and single-family homes.
